World Landscape Architecture Month (WLAM) kicks off this April, with chapters across the country planning activities around this year’s theme: Landscape Architecture in Action.

From social media series to in-person events, chapters are finding different ways to showcase the profession:

ASLA Nebraska–Dakotas is launching a daily social media spotlight featuring members, firms, and projects across the region.

ASLA San Diego is celebrating local excellence through a month-long social media campaign.

ASLA New York is marking the month with both digital and in-person programming. This includes a social media campaign of award-winning work, an awards ceremony and reception, an open studio event at Nelson Byrd Woltz, the "Rising Urbanists" symposium in collaboration with MLA students at the CCNY Spitzer School of Architecture, and a tour of Central Park’s newly renovated Conservatory Garden.

ASLA Colorado/Wyoming is continuing its Instagram Takeover series, giving firms a platform to share their work directly with the chapter’s audience.

ASLA Nevada is taking the profession to the public by tabling at a local Earth Day event.

If your chapter has an event or campaign in the works, please share your plans through this short form so ASLA can track and amplify your efforts.

For those looking for inspiration, the WLAM 2026 Toolkit includes prompts and resources to help you get started.
