Meredith Branstad, ASLA

Meredith Branstad, ASLA, ISA, splits her work life between teaching at the University of California, Davis and as a restoration designer at Dudek. She has worked as both a landscape architect and wildlife biologist and arborist. Throughout her career, she has strived to create spaces that balance the interests of people and wildlife. In addition to ASLA, she has volunteered as a mentor for CREATE, a high school career exploration program for the last 17 years.

Meredith first joined the California Sierra Chapter Executive Committee over 20 years ago and has served in a variety of roles from Treasurer to Chapter President. She was excited to resume her involvement after a few years’ break by taking up the Trustee position. 

When not looking at trees or checking out interesting paving patterns she enjoys quilting, reading, or playing boardgames with the kiddos.
